Agreement on Sessions
The great news is there is no registration fee!
Please be aware a student’s very first session will be time spent setting up their account on the computers in the classroom for remote learning and/or going through their learning plan. We will also go over the procedures and expectations of the room. A minimum of 2 sessions during sign up is recommended to begin but not required.
Palm Bridge uses Stripe as a third party payment processor. If paying online, the charges will show up as PALMBRIDGELEARING LLC.
Scheduling a Session
After registering, you will receive an email and be given Parent Portal login instructions where you can view and schedule a session directly on our calendar. Also in the Parent Portal, you will be able choose how you want to make a payment and to view my notes after each session.
A two week withdrawal notice for scheduled sessions is required to discontinue reoccurring or prepaid classes. Withdrawl must be done by informing me verbally and signing a withdrawal form provided by me to keep for our records.
I am looking forward to partnering with you and your child! It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to be aware of dates and session times your child is signed up for. If you need to cancel, you will be refunded the full amount for which session you signed up for if done so within the morning of the current date of the scheduled session. If there is an absentee for the session your child is signed up for, you will be charged the full amount for the session.
If for some reason, I cancel a session, a notification will be sent out by text and email and you will be refunded for the full amount of the session your child is signed up for.
Please wait in the lobby for me to greet you and do a temperature check on your child upon arrival. For pick up, you may walk to the room to pick up your child. Your child may bring a snack that is nut free, as well as their own water bottle for a snack break between Session 1 and 2. (*Water only — no other drinks allowed.) There are no snacks allowed except between Session 1 and 2.
It is the parent/guardian’s responsibility to update the following information in the parent portal if changed: phone number, email, or address changes.
What to bring
Your smiling self ready to go! 😃 Please bring information regarding your school, including teacher name and email, log in information, and any workbooks and paper that you will be using. You may bring your own pencil/pen, ear buds/headphones or whatever supply you think you’ll need. (We do supply pencils/pens, and headphones if needed.) Also a sweatshirt or light jacket , it can get chilly in the room. No food or drinks unless you are registered to stay for Session 1 & 2.
Rules of the room
We are respectful. (We use kind words, we listen, respect personal space, are quiet, and talk in a respectful tone).
We are safe. (There is no touching other students, we follow Covid procedures, listen to and follow the directions of the teacher if an emergency occurs).
We follow directions the first time. (We follow directions for our assignments, when the teacher directs us to follow safety procedures, routines, and transitions).
We work hard and try our best. (We are prepared, put forth effort, manage our behavior, and work on completing assignments).
While we want each and every child to enjoy their time in the environment, we do recognize there may be a need for a conversation with the parents or guardians. Here is a list of what you can expect from us:
1. Verbal warning from the teacher.
2. Note or phone call to the parent /guardian after the session.
3. Conference with the teacher, parent/guardian, and student to determine if this is the best fit.
